Associate
Josh is a zealous and diligent advocate who remains calm under pressure. He has represented many individuals in high stakes matters involving significant legal exposure. No matter the issue, Josh brings his experience in the military, government, and litigation to find a solution that meets your goals. You can rest assured that Josh will thoroughly research the issues and fiercely advocate for you.
Before joining Terrazas, Josh served as an Active Duty Army Judge Advocate (military lawyer). He represented Soldiers facing criminal charges, administrative hearings, and federal investigations. He also advised senior military commanders and decision makers within the federal government on a wide array of legal issues, including national security law, international treaties, law of armed conflict, constitutional law, labor and employment law, government information practices, fiscal law, and administrative law.
Prior to becoming a lawyer, Josh served honorably as an armor officer, infantryman, and logistician in the U.S. Army. He is a graduate of the distinguished Army Reconnaissance Course and has deployed in support of Operation Inherent Resolve and Operation Spartan Shield, in addition to serving in Germany and Korea.
Josh continues his service as a Judge Advocate in the U.S. Army Reserves Trial
Defense Service, where he defends Soldiers as a military public defender.
